I'm using the 4.1 version of the SRS module. Is it possible to pass the name of the DNN user who is running the report via a parameter?

Hello James, it is possible to pass the UserId which you can use to lookup all the other user information in the report itself. All you have to do is setup a parameter in your report called UserId and the value will be substituted at runtime automatically by the module (unless you turn this setting off). Hope this answers your question. We will take note to add the other parameter options in the next release.
