I am looking at the demo for you SQL Reporting Services and the charts we have at the top of the reports are not showing up. If I run them thru reporting service they show up fine. Is this an issue?

This is not normal. Charts, drilling, etc. should all work. What version of DNN and reporting services are you running on? Are the graphs produced using the reporting services graphing or are they custom / specialized graphs?

DNN is 4
Reporting Services is SQL 2000.
They are produced by Reportig services. If I export out the reports as pdf, inside your module, they sow up fine.
Also a direct link to Reporting Services report itself and the graph shows up.

We will try to replicate this over the weekend. You may need to send your report definition file so we can be certain we are looking at a similar setup. You can email that to service@modulemasters.com. Thank you.

The problem has been replicated. We discovered that if you render a report with a graph in reporting services 2000 for some reason the image stream is broken, however if you run it in a multi-tabbed browser (IE7) on one tab and run the native report from the report server on another tab, the stream works. We found a knowledgebase article at microsoft that suggests loading the reporting services 2000 SP2, however we need to look at the control further to determine why this happens. Have you applied any service packs to the reporting 2000 services?

It appears the root of the problem is actually because an iframe is used in the report viewer control itself. I have amended the code of this control to use an object rather than iframe. It appears to fix the problem, however it is less secure and may prompt for "allow" access to it at runtime. This problem does not effect the viewer in 2005, only graphs in 2000. Attached is the updated reportviewer.dll if you would like to attempt to use it. Simply place it in your DNN\bin directory.

Attachment: ReportViewer.dll
