I have download and installed the demo on my Windows 2008 x64, SQL 2008 x64, IIS7 system running DNN 5.10.

After making the required changes to the web.config, I am able to load the module and begin the setup process.  The Reporting Server is on the same server as the DNN Install.

After setting up the server in the Admin settings, and clicking back, I get an error indicating the reporting server is no longer available.  On the setting page, a HTTP status 404 (not found)  appears.

However the same URL works fine in the browser - http://mb-sql/reports  works just fine in the browser but not in the product.

Help!

Roy

Right, that is the report front end, you actually want the report server URL, not the report manager URL, on your server, go to the reporting services configuration manager under the start -> programs -> sql server 2008 -> configuration tools, then you want to go look at the web service URL that is there....RS 2008 made things interesting by not leveraging IIS, now it is using a different access API to get to the reporting web service URL.

That works!

Question on activation...this is a development site that will migrate to a production site over the next few months. Once it goes live, do I have to relicense/reactivate? Can I continue running on a dev site?

Good deal! If you migrate the dev site to production, you'll be fine, you get a dev license and a production license anyway, so either way you are covered.
